Choose a Royal Shade mesh pool cover designed for a 20 x 40 ft inground pool with a 5 x 10 ft step section. Select the step position and color that match your pool before ordering. The mesh fabric allows rainwater to pass through while helping keep leaves and larger debris out of the pool.

Pool size, step position and color

• Designed pool size: 20 x 40 ft.
• Step section: 5 x 10 ft; confirm the dimensions against your pool layout.
• Step layouts: center end step, left end step or right end step.
• Colors: blue and green.
• Fabric: woven polypropylene mesh.

Installation hardware included

The cover is supplied with brass anchors, stainless steel springs, installation tools and instructions. Confirm the surrounding deck material, available anchoring area and installation requirements before purchase.

Measure your pool and step layout

The 20 x 40 ft size refers to the intended pool opening. Measure the pool and step section, compare your drawing with the product layout images, and confirm the finished cover dimensions and anchor locations. Verify the orientation of left and right end-step options with our team so the selected cover matches your pool.

Mesh construction and care

This is a water-permeable mesh cover, rather than a solid waterproof winter tarp. Keep the mesh and hardware free of accumulated debris and follow the installation, spring-tensioning and maintenance instructions. Do not use the cover as a walking surface.

For a rectangular pool without this step layout, compare our 16 x 32 ft mesh pool cover with installation hardware. For solid seasonal covering fabric, view our woven polyethylene winter pool covers.
