Square Sun Shade Sail Canopy Outdoor Patio Awning

I give this sun shade sail a 5-star rating because it's exactly what I needed. I wanted something external on my window to block some sun and UV heat from getting into my room, and this sail does the job perfectly. It's very sturdy and durable while being lightweight enough for me to throw onto my roof easily. I like that it's permeable to let air and water through while still providing sun relief. The D-rings on each corner made it easy to tie rope or carabiners to secure it down. Overall, it's a great product and I'm very satisfied with it.

This 10 x 10 sun shade comes in way below other ones that literally cost hundreds of dollars more. Now, will it perform the same and last as long as one that costs hundreds of dollars? Of course not. But for the price, does it matter? It will do 70-80% of the job of a sun sail costing significantly more, at 1/10th or less the price. Seems like a reasonable trade-off to me.

It blocks most UV rays (95%), and while it is not waterproof, the weave of the sail will allow water to drip through so at least it won't accumulate a big puddle of water and sag.

At this price, you can get one, use it until it wears out, and then replace it with another one at the same price, and it is still an excellent value.

There is a mounting hardware kit you will need to purchase separately, FYI. It's usually around $10 so is far from expensive. Still a great deal all around!

This is a great sun shade. Easy to install, the grommets seem to be very sturdy. Good thickness, although rain doesn't seem to pass through it so I would suggest not installing this flat - keep it at a slight angle and the water will run right off. Good value for money and a good product, this is an item I would order again.

I put up a 10x10 over my deck (see photo). I added two 4x4 posts for the outside corners. I bought the recommended hardware kit (the sunshade doesn't include any hardware). I spaced the anchors 10'6" apart. I didn't need to use the turnbuckles, only the anchors and carabiners. If I had spaced the anchors further apart and used the turnbuckles, I would have gotten more tension, but so far, it seems ok. I'm not going to leave it up if the wind is strong (I live in a coastal area, and we can get 30+ knot winds). Very happy with it so far. It seems very well made, so hopefully, it will last.

Good quality and lightweight. Easy to use and looks great.
