[CUSTOM] Waterproof Triangle/Rectangle/Square Shade Sail Outdoor Canopy Awning

We got this to use at our campsite with forecasted rain, but unfortunately it got left behind at home so we weren't able to use it there. However, examining the construction and features, this seems to be made of premium materials. The stitching is reinforced, the hardware is strong and well-attached and the fabric certainly appears to be waterproof.

I also like the appearance of the curved corners and look forward to using it in the summer on our patio. Then I'll update accordingly for its UV feature.

I love this shade. It is very well constructed, vibrant and beautiful. I didn��t think about how I was going to hang it when I ordered it, so you may want to think about that and be prepared. It is heavy duty and you will definitely need good hooks and a sturdy place. It is definitely water resistant as the ad states, not just a shade cloth. It is wonderful to not have to spray it with water repellent like I had to my last one. Hopefully the color will not fade with time. I really don��t know why my pic showing how the water beads up looks so washed out because the color is true to the ad. See the pic with the ring.

I honestly didn't expect it to have such beefy hooks, but I guess it makes sense if it isn't permeable and is going to hold up to storms and wind. No real complaints so far, it's held up to some serious desert winter storms. Hopefully the UV aspects are just as good for summer. Having a nice ratcheting tension setup really helps get this thing tight.

Purchased this (as well as the 9.5' x 9.5' square version) to use for an upcoming outdoor event. Since, other than the size, they are largely the same product, the reviews are nearly identical. The color is vibrant yellow, which is precisely what I wanted. The material is definitely waterproof, thick, and the seams are well done. The grommeted corners with rings are extremely well sewn and reinforced and should hold up well to stress in windy conditions. I clearly knew this ahead of time, so I can't complain after the fact, but it would have been nice if there were a few grommets and rings between the corners to provide additional stability (as well as less stress on the four corner grommets) against strong winds. This is definitely a significant step above a typical tarp - high quality material, vibrant color and durable, strong grommets and rings for hanging - and is well worth the higher cost.

Note their Sun Sails that say "WATERPROOF" are like canvas -- the others are permeable mesh.

I got three different Sun Shade Sail's from this same company. Neither good nor bad, but pay attention to the specification stating whether they are waterproof or not. This one is a triangle waterproof canvas type product that is waterproof. No air would flow through this product.

The other two, red and turquoise, are semi-permeable mesh-like product that allows a little bit of air to flow through but maybe a little water as well.
